Multiple rotation and rotation shortcuts

At the top of the screen you have rotation buttons. It is easy to spot. But, did you know that
  • [F5], [F6], [F7] and [F8] are keyboard shortcuts for those buttons ?
  • If you select many cards in the spreadsheet the rotations can be applied to all selected cards cards ?
In the following animation I select first 6 cards then I click [F6] to rotate their front image 90 degrees right:

Right-click menu in each column

This is one of my favorite: each column has its own contextual popup menu.

It can be powerful when you select many cells of the same column and do a right-click to invoke it.

To make it work simply select many cells of the same column.

For most of the columns the choices cames from the actual content of the selected column but some column such as the "Sale Price" have extra functions.

Double click column header to sort ascending then descending

Works for every column: Double click the header it will sort the cards. Double click again you will have a reverse sort order.

Auto-completion tips

Find all the tips in this blog post: http://blog.kronozio.com/kronocard-auto-completion/

here is an extract:

Selecting

Let’s say you type "top" in the product field. To select one of the choices you can either use the keyboard or your mouse:
  • Select a line with your keyboard [up] and [down] arrow keys then using [Tab] or [Enter] keys
  • Directly click on your choice using the mouse left button

Not selecting

This tip is usefull for the cases where the word you want is not in our lists:
Let’s say you type "joh" in the Payer / Description field: you will get more than a dozen suggestions.
If you really want to have the word "joh" and none of the suggestion then simply add a space with your keyboard to get rid of the suggestions or press the [ESC] key.

One more tip for the spreadsheet

To edit cells in the spreadsheet you just have to start typing. But if there is already some text in that cell what you type will replace the existing text. To keep your old text and edit it instead of replacing it you can either double click in the cell with the mouse or use your keyboard [F2] key.

The product field

The Product field is a bit different from others. First the suggested products are based on the Category (Baseball, Football, Hockey…) field so make sure a Category is selected. Second the search can match letters anywhere in the product list: as an example if you enter “game” then the proposed choices will contain:
  • Canada Games Pogs
  • Fleer Greats of the Game
  • In The Game
  • And many more…
You can even customize the lists. See: http://blog.kronozio.com/kronocard-auto-completion/
